j'ai une lifebox d'Orange pour me connecter sur Internet.
En branchant le cable de réseau tout marche, la connexion sans fil ne fonctionne cependant pas.
J'ai déjà regardé dans le Help ainsi que sur internet pour résoudre le problème.
Quelqu'un me donner un conseil?

administration in .LU, a university, a school, a health care
organisation, a pension fund or a state-owned enterprise where
LibreOffice or OpenOffice is used.

cela fonctionne maintenant (avec une restriction : voir plus bas)
En fait j'ai changé de webcam. Logitech C-170.
La webcam et le micro sont bien reconnus.
J'ai également ré-installé PulseAudio (qui est le défaut sous Ubuntu).
Une restriction : parfois le micro n'est pas reconnu.
Il faut repasser par les options Skype --> Setup son --> PulseAudio -->
sélectionner le micro adéquat (soit celui de la webcam).
Le setup de Skype semble donc ne pas être persistent.

I'm using chromium v24 or 29 browser under ubuntu and I encounter problems
with certificats managements, it's said that it should be possible to work
with TLS1.2 under
chromium (firefow still allows only TLS v1.0) which normally is the most
advanced version for https; but when I dgo under options->advanced
options->manage certificates I don't find both checkboxes for 'use SSL3'
and 'use TLS 1.2' neither other version...Does anybody encouter the same
problem?

tout d'abord cet email en français avec mes excuses : je ne maitrise
pas bien la langue luxembourgeoise.
Je recontre également des problèmes avec Skype sous Ubuntu 12.04.
Plus précisément avec le micro (qui est intégre à la caméra).
Ce problème est intermittent et irrégulier :
soit le micro n'est pas reconnu,
soit le son produit en sortie (lors des tests via Skype) est très
inaudible, genre accéleré,
soit parfois (mais très rarement) le micro fonctionne.
Dans ce dernier cas le fait de stopper / re-starter Skype et/ou
l'ordinateur suffit malheureusement à effacer la bonne configuration.
J'ai remplacé PulseAudio par ALSA.
Cela m'a permis d'accèder plus facilement aux différents types de
device micros identifiés dans la config Sound de Sykpe, mais le
problème reste identique.

Hi all,
I have another head scratcher for you. I have an oldish (5 years or so) HP
laptop that I am running the current version of Kubuntu on. Although I
have had similar issues in the past, recently, my wireless connection has
been acting up much more than usual. Frequently, when I bring the laptop
out of sleep mode, it will not detect all of the wireless networks around
it. For example, normally, there are 4 detectable wireless networks in my
living room - two belong to me. This morning, when I opened my laptop, it
only detected my neighbors' networks - which are also the networks with the
weakest signals. My wife's laptop (running the current Kubuntu LTS
version) does not have any problem finding and connecting to either of my
wireless APs.
Turning off and on the wireless connection does not solve the problem. and
iwlist produces some very unusual results: when running the command
multiple times in succession, my APs showup and disappear from the results
- with the majority of executions of the command NOT showing my APs.
Ordinarily, rebooting the system fixes the problem, but today, it required
two cold restarts to finally resolve the issue.
Has anyone ever seen a similar issue? This issue does not show up when I
boot into Windows, so I'm assuming it is a software or a driver issue.

OS: Kubuntu 12:10 (fully updated)
Wireless Device: Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x / AR542x Wireless

I have been playing around with a Samsung Galaxy trying to connect it to my
Kubuntu machines using MTP and I've run unto a very strange problem. The
machines are similar - both are HP Laptops and both have Kubuntu 12.10 on
them. Unfortunately, I do not remember the whole history of what I've
changed on both systems, so this could be a fun troubleshooting exercise.
So, the problem: on my machine, I can connect the android device without
any problems and I can browse, modify, change etc. anything on the phone
and the associated SD card.
On my wife's machine, when I open the device in Dolphin, I see the two
storage partitions on the phone (Card and Phone) via MTP. However, when I
try to open either of those storage locations, I get a continuous "Loading
Folder" message.
My question: can anyone even begin to tell me how I can go about
troubleshooting this? Everyone on the online message forums seems to say
that "it just works" Which it did for one of my machines.....
By the way, the machine that this is not working on is the newer of the two
machines and supports USB 3.0.
If anyone can help me solve this, I'll owe you a frothy beverage of your
choice (made in LU of course).
