Hi,
not too long ago I looked around for a nice MP3 (and other music
files) organizer/player.
Many thanks to Al, who pointed me to JuK, which is part of the
kdemultimedia package in KDE 3.2.
This little thing is quite interesting - you can drag&drop whole
directories full of MP3s (or Ogg etc.) into it, you can easily
search the whole thing, select what you want to play, manage
playlists etc. Especially nice is the tree view (right-click in
the left pane, view modes...) where you can quickly select by
album, artist, genre...
This works a lot like iTunes, which is probably one of the
more interesting softwares for such tasks.
If available on the machines @LGL, this software will be part of
the basic course during the LinuxFest 2004 ;-)
