hi, i JUST WENT FROM WINDOWS TO AURORA (FEDORA) AND I WENT ON THE INTERNET STRAIGHT AWAY
AND 10 MINUTES AFTER THE SCREEN WAS BLACK. I DIDN'T REACT ON THE MESSAGE STRAIGHT
AWAY (SIGSEGV , BUGS.KDE.ORG) . THERE IS SAID kONQUEROR-CRASH
RESULT 80GB NOT WORKING INFESTED WITH A VIRUS AS WELL.
wHO OF YOU KNOWS WHAT TO DO? THANKS

Hello,
as far as I understand you, Konqueror (your web browser) crashed with a
segmentation fault.
Segmentation fault occurs when an application tries to access a memory
space which was not allocated to it.
You should try to update konqueror or use another browser (p.ex. Mozilla).
The cause of this error could have many reasons.
Why now 80 Gb are not working or are infected with a virus can I not
explain. Linux usually is not affectable for viruses.

I think that we need a bit more information to help you, but it is highly
unlikely that you have a virus.
Could you give us a more detailed description of the problem:
What is the current state of the computer?
Does the system boot?
Is there valuable data on the hard drive that you need to access?
Do you know what file system you used, if so which one (ext2, ext3,
Reiser...)?
What type of hardware are you using? Based on Aurora, I assume that you
have a Sparc based system.
Which version of Aurora do you have?
