Hello,
I’m new to that list, and not really a linux specialist, so I’m sorry if my « language »
is not very pro in this message...
But I will be very happy if you can help me on this one :)
I would like to get rid of my Fritzbox, knowing that my ISP is Tango
So, I’ve bought a Netgear R9000 with dd-wrt installed (v3.0-r42335 std (02/10/20) with
it’s WAN port connected directly to the optical termination point
After a search on internet, I’ve tried to configure dd-wrt with :
- connection type : pppoe with my username/password
- VLAN tagging (eth=) : 35
But no connection and no WAN IP assigned
So, do you know if it’s possible to get rid of the Fritzbox with Tango, and then can you
explain to me how to configure my dd-wrt router ?
If it’s not possible, do you know how to configure the dd-wrt router to have the WAN IP
addressed with the Fritzbox in bridge mode (I’ve tried but failed…)
Many thanks and have a good day
Pierre
