Hi,
I start to work in Luxemburg at the beginning of 2013. Can you recommend a
good provider for an UMTS stick, that is Linux friendly?[1]
I need coverage mostly in Luxemburg city and on the road from Remich to
Luxemburg.
If a mobile phone with tethering is the best solution, I am interested in
that as well.
[1] An example of a non-Linux friendly company in Germany: stick is prepaid
and works fine, but to charge your prepaid account, you need a Windows
software.

I've seen that LuxGSM offers Huawei E586 devices, which are
essentially WiFi to 3G/UMTS Routers. Along with one of their
mobile Internet offers, this ought to be a rather allround
solution.
LuxGSM coverage should be quite good across the country.

I'm using an huawei lte stick (e392u-12) from tango.lu. The stick works out
of the box on ubuntu. The coverage is ok in Mersch, shot be good in lux
city.
