There are similar services like dynup for example. Do you mind sharing
the reason why you do not want to use an external service? That would
free you of the hassle of running a service yourself.
Anyway, ANY servet that you run on your box would do as long as you are
able to extract the source IP from its log files or otherwise, i.e. you
could use an apache server for example. What servers are running on your
box at this point? Anything you might use for this purpose?
