I don't know the answer. I the answer to the two first questions is
"No", then there's no need for a clone of SLES. Just a need to find some
copy to duplicate.
I don't know either. But you'd obviously have to stay with a static CD
or DVD version, because you wouldn't be entitled to online updates.
Unless you download the eval version
(http://www.novell.com/products/linuxenterpriseserver/eval.html) which
gives you 30 day installation support and updates.
