What do you think?
With the reference, you should be able to google for the
components, and check if they individually run on Linux,
and especially on 64-bit Linux. I'd guess there might be
surprises with the WLAN, possibly the card reader. Also,
does this model use SATA already? If so, there might be
issues booting from older distributions' install media.
If you can have a look at the actual hardware, ask if you
may boot it using a Knoppix or Kubuntu Dapper Live CD,
this way you could quickly find out about possible issues.
The official description at [1] is unfortunately very
unprecise as to the innards...
