AFAIK, SuSE always try to automount the cd/dvd. I always give the raw
path to the device, not to the mountedf one, e.g. /dev/hdc insted od
/media/dvd.
You can also place a symbolic link to the device directly.
Just ignore the popup asking what to do with the medium.
I always use xine for playing dvd's, have not much experience with ogle.
