This problem seems to be fixed automagically (probably by alternet)
Now I get an ip address and a connect (using CHAP and not PAP as the
default value seems to have changed after intensive modem
resetting...)
Now only it seems that I get no names resolved using the P&T name
servers :-((
Also, using their router as dhcp server for my network passes the
routers IP address as nameserver which does not work neither.
Which DNS servers are people using over alternet?

Thanks, I added this to mine :-)
But today and yesterday late I got again the

Yesteday evening I got an IP address for some hours but could however
not get any connection outside, maybe it was dnsserver related...
But for now I am thinking again that there is a problem at their
side...?
Thanks for everything Brent!
Best regards and merry christmas!
