Can you describe concretely what happens when "it doesn't" work? Any error
messages? Or does it just hang? Or what exactly happens?
Also, please watch your line length. In general, it is custom to stay under
80 characters. This makes it easier for people to reply to you, as they
don't have to scroll through your long lines. Of course, if there is a good
reason (such as log file messages, program examples, etc.), you can go over.
