seems that you
already had contact with LuxTrust over usage of their smartcards

GNU/Linux on non-i386 platforms.
Maybe you could reactivate the same contacts and nudge them in the
direction of using the same web/open standard way of authenticating
with their website than the etat.lu / public.lu / guichet.lu?
The web/open standard way is to ask for presentation of the
certificate at the SSL/TLS layer, and let the browser ask the user
which certificate to present.
This would allow their website to work with my driver.
