Such functionality of course goes far beyond the
current features
of fdups. I'm not sure if such a FOSS program already exists for
Unix-like OSs - if so I'd be interested.
there are such programs for *nix-OSs....
with digikam f.ex., a program to manage your pictures, it is possible to scan
your albums for dups...
AFAIK with kde's konqi it is possible as well
same tools exist for soud too
those are kde apps... but i'm sure there are cli apps as well
