[Lilux-help] Unable to mount USB Stick

Hi Who's interested: I had trouble using my USB stick. It couldn't be mounted beause of an error like Ressource or device busy. I figure out that I am nhot the only one with such a problem. After a long discussion with the bugzilla of suse 10.0, someone gave me the right help: The layout of my stick was wrong. The first 64k should be formatted with 0. Most of the *nix formatting tools don't do it, I don't know why. I used parted to write a new partition table on iot and then do a mkfs.vfat. Now, all goes fine and the stick is correctly mounted. The only inconvinience is that it no more supports full bandwith while accessing. Al -- So long and thanx for the fish <°(((-< <°)))o><(
