Alex,
I'm not aware of anything that could/would do what you want post
installation. There are a few scripts out there for dynamically building
the fstab, but they are generally for liveCDs (Knoppix, Memis...). I it
is probably easier to manually rebuild the fstab than to modify one of
these scripts to fit your needs.
If you want, I can send you a copy of my fstab in a separate e-mail. You
would have to modify it to fit your system, but it would be simpler than
rebuilding from scratch.
You can also find some example fstabs and relatively straightforward
descriptions of them at:
http://www.tuxfiles.org/linuxhelp/fstab.html
and
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fstab
Regards
Mike
Hi
I have deleted the fstab of my system. How can I create a new one?
(I don't wanna do it manually, but a script should do it, it does it
while installing, but how is it called?
Thanx
Al
