Hi,
Does anybody know which Luxembourg banks offer an
e-banking service
under Linux? I currently have an account with ING Luxembourg, but they
offer an Windows/IE only solution. I noticed on the lilux site that
there was a possibility with GBL and Netscape 4.7, but Netscape 4.7 is a
bit too out-dated for me.
Aye, some promises actually were made during last Bureautec,
but...
Our best chance actually is the fact that support for the MS JVM
is running out, and banks are being forced to switch to the Sun JVM,
making things much easier for us. They are still holding though,
apparently some new stuff with PKI serving as a reason there (some
talk about it at the Assemblee Generale last thursday).
Someone (who, actually?) was to set up a page on the LiLux site
about the different banks, with the status of their online banking
solutions regarding Linux, and if possible, instructions on how to
get things working (which may even be interesting to MacOS X users).
I hope this can take place more or less quickly.
AFAIK Alain Knaff has the instructions for BGL & Netscape 4, IIRC
something similar should exist for P&T CCP Connect.
Greetings, Eric
