Hi
Is there any mean to mount in w mode a ntfs

Actually without some more information on what
system, or especially
kernel you are using, it is impossible to answer
this question without
guessing.
I'm using version 2.4.22 (Mandrake 9.2) and to mount
partition I'm doing
mount -w -type ntfs /dev/hda1 /mnt/windows
but despite the flag 'w', partition is set in read
mode only.
But yes /in general/ it is possible.
Under 2.4.26 write support is still experimental and
therefor I wouldn't
use it, unless you are really sure of what you are
doing.
Under 2.6.6 r/w support for ntfs partitions
shouldn't be a real problem.
Just enable it in your config.
