Hello Dominique, Welcome to the list! I believe there are a number of Linux distributions tailored to visually impaired users. Vinux is the first that came to my mind. This is the link to the project's website: http://vinuxproject.org/ The Knoppix creator, Klaus Knopper, has implemented some time ago a booting option to the Knoppix Live CD called ADRIANE (named after his wife, I believe).
