After further investigation, it turned out that the BCEE problem _is_
related, but in a roundabout way ...
With the release of the 64 bit middleware, Luxtrust made a new version
of their wrapper shim, 1.4 , which has been deployed by BCEE
... unfortunately, it has a bug in a configuration file includes in the
jar for Linux 32 bit, which points to Mac, rather than Linux ==> breaks
Linux 32 bit!
As for the 64 bit version, BCEE have another problem in their launcher
javascript, which erroneously pulls the 32 bit version of the jar, even
when in 64 bit mode (... and even though the 64 bit version is actually
present on their server...). So Linux 64 bit --> Linux 32 bit jar -->
Macintosh config. Grrr!
The reason why it works with the other banks (in 32 bit mode) is because
they still use the pre-64 version 1.3 ... Possibly even this bug is the
reason _why_ the others banks didn't move to 1.4 yet!
However, Luxtrust noticed the problem and fixed it in a version 1.4.1,
released a week ago ...
Now we only need to wait until the banks deploy this 1.4.1 version ...
BCEE is aware of the issue.

Alain
