For our LAN party we need Nvidia based graphics card.
Who has one he could spare for this week-end ?
Should we buy 5 cards @ 58Euro each ?
Careful, those very cheap cards typically have extremely bad
signal quality - if you try to use it with a high resolution,
your eyes/head will hurt because of bad image quality, whatever
your screen is!
(I know, I have bought such a card to replace the failing previous
one - and I'll replace it very soon. This card is GeForce4-based,
but totally unusable in 1600x1200, even with 1400x1050 it's
hardly bearable - and yes, my 22" screen can handle much more
than that. Actually I'm wondering if I shouldn't replace the
whole box by something nicely fast and quiet.)

Passive cooling is very important if you don't want your
ears to fall off ;-)
Would someone be interested to have that card after
the Linux Fest ?
Not me.
