Hi! Does anyone know a simple but good, multilingual and free PHP web shop system for apache? Like laaser.net but in ENG, GER and FRE. Many thanks Paul Krier, http://www.wichtelweb.net ======================== Some people think that football is a matter of life and death ... Re: KDevelop

by glenn

Just curious, why not use emacs? It does text indentation quite nicely, as well as several other handy things. +glenn lilux-help-request(a)lilux.lu wrote: > Send Lilux-help mailing list submissions to > lilux-help(a)lilux.lu > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://lilux.lu/mailman/listinfo/lilux-help > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > lilux-help-request(a)lilux.lu > > You can reach the person managing the list at > lilux-help-owner(a)lilux.lu > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of Lilux-help digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1. KDevelop

by Alex.Loes＠lll.lu

Hello The editor in KDevelop does not automaticaalyy fill in spaces automagically. I mean, when i Type in a block of code in C, the next line (after I pressed the Enter key), the text appears in the beginning of the line, not indent. I mean, such a formatting as: void main(int argc, char *argv[]) { blah; bluh; } What I want as result is: void main(int argc, char *argv[]) { blah; bluh; } Is it possible that the editor recognises itself the block ( { ) and indents automaticly after pressing the Enter key, until the end of the block ( } )? fsck

by Alex

Hi I have a little problem while booting: During install, I have placed two IDE Disks into my system and installed Kubuntu edgy on sda1. Now, I unplugged those HD's (IDE) and while booting, the system shows me an error message it was unable to check the HD hda1 and hdb1 (fsck): fsck 1.39 (29-May-2006) fsck.ext3: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/hda1 /dev/hda1: The fsck.ext3: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/hdb1 /dev/hdb1: The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2 filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2 filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock: e2fsck -b 8193 <device> superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2 filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2 filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock: e2fsck -b 8193 <device> /dev/sda5: clean, 30/100400 files, 20800/200781 blocks /dev/sda8: clean, 9115/1224000 files, 1267116/2443880 blocks /dev/sda9: clean, 5048/3662848 files, 6953600/7325632 blocks /dev/sda10: clean, 2300/3662848 files, 6948230/7323624 blocks /dev/sda11: clean, 12975/3662848 files, 2225430/7325632 blocks fsck died with exit status 8 The system prompts me in a shell where I have to press CTRL-D to go on with booting. My question is: Where do I have to change something to get rid of these messages about /dev/hda1 and /dev/hdb1? Which startup script does this? I also cleared the lines about hda and hdb in /etc/fstab. Thanx Al

Key

by Alex.Loes＠lll.lu

Hi I have here a kubuntu Edgy Eft and a keyboard with some extra keys, a multimedia keyboard from Logitech. When I press an extra key, a window pops up indicating a message. I wider which little prog responds to this keypress. I need to reconfigure them, because some keys do not correspond with their indications printed on them. xev shows me: KeyRelease event, serial 31, synthetic NO, window 0x2a00001, root 0x4d, subw 0x0, time 4026658453, (-850,807), root:(158,832), state 0x0, keycode 160 (keysym 0x1008ff12, XF86AudioMute), same_screen YES, XLookupString gives 0 bytes: XFilterEvent returns: False Is it already configured in xorg.conf?? I don't think it's related, but well if someone a solution for > both it would be cooool ;) Well, I've no idea about beagle either ;-) In the case of kio_thumbnail, bugs.kde.org has several reports, some of which marked as unconfirmed despite several submissions and comments describing the same issue - and ranging from older kde versions to quite recent (3.5.5) ones. I've added my own report there, but people don't make a "very interested" impression. What really bugs me is that I can reproduce the problem by my daily use - and having the machine unusable for sth like 20 minutes is not exactly fun (unless I reboot of course - no, I get no chance to kill the bastard, not even ctrl-alt-bksp). Oh well... back to good ol' CLI then... Greetings, Eric

apache2/mod_proxy problem

by Yves Glodt

Hi, mod_proxy currently drives me crazy. I have a webserver running sarge, which has a local network connection to a windows box running a fastreport server I have this bit of configuration in sarges apache: ProxyPass /test http://192.168.0.1:1234/result Connecting to this through the local network works (from windows->sarge): http://192.168.0.1:1234/result?report=test.fr3&format=pdf (I get the pdf) But this does not: http://www.mysite.net/test?report=test.fr3&format=pdf It seems to attack the windows box with the correct url, but somehow it does not get the pdf file back. Is redirects my browser to this non-existing url: http://www.mysite.net/sid_f1052558031/result.pdf Here a part of the apache log: [Thu Nov 09 16:20:59 2006] [debug] /home/skx/apache2-2.0.54/build-tree/apache2/modules/proxy/proxy_http.c(67): proxy: HTTP: canonicalising URL //192.168.0.1:1234/result [Thu Nov 09 16:20:59 2006] [debug] /home/skx/apache2-2.0.54/build-tree/apache2/modules/proxy/mod_proxy.c(418): Trying to run scheme_handler [Thu Nov 09 16:20:59 2006] [debug] /home/skx/apache2-2.0.54/build-tree/apache2/modules/proxy/proxy_http.c(1075): proxy: HTTP: serving URL http://192.168.0.1:1234/result?report=test.fr3&format=pdf [Thu Nov 09 16:20:59 2006] [debug] /home/skx/apache2-2.0.54/build-tree/apache2/modules/proxy/proxy_http.c(186): proxy: HTTP connecting http://192.168.0.1:1234/result?report=test.fr3&format=pdf to 192.168.0.1:1234 [Thu Nov 09 16:20:59 2006] [debug] /home/skx/apache2-2.0.54/build-tree/apache2/modules/proxy/proxy_util.c(1139): proxy: HTTP: fam 2 socket created to connect to 192.168.0.1 [Thu Nov 09 16:20:59 2006] [debug] /home/skx/apache2-2.0.54/build-tree/apache2/modules/proxy/proxy_http.c(336): proxy: socket is connected [Thu Nov 09 16:20:59 2006] [debug] /home/skx/apache2-2.0.54/build-tree/apache2/modules/proxy/proxy_http.c(370): proxy: connection complete to 192.168.0.1:1234 (192.168.0.1) [Thu Nov 09 16:21:07 2006] [debug] /home/skx/apache2-2.0.54/build-tree/apache2/modules/proxy/proxy_http.c(909): proxy: start body send [Thu Nov 09 16:21:07 2006] [debug] /home/skx/apache2-2.0.54/build-tree/apache2/modules/proxy/proxy_http.c(969): proxy: end body send [Thu Nov 09 16:21:07 2006] [error] [client 1.2.3.4] File does not exist: /home/www-data/mysite.net/sid_f1052558031 Can someone tell me what's wrong here...? regards, yves
